Lester Buboltz, age 86, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2002, surrounded by his family at Century Oaks Residential Care Community in Darboy.
He was born May 12, 1916 in the town of Brillion, son of the late Ernst and Clara (Schwandner) Buboltz. On Feb. 7, 1942 he married Mabel Bratz in Reedsville. Mr. Buboltz farmed the Buboltz Homestead in the town of Brillion his entire life. He also worked at the Brillion Iron Works, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Ron and Sandy Buboltz and Don and Leann Buboltz, all of Brillion; five grandchildren: Lora (Al) Muehlbauer, Robin (Steve) Abts, Amber (Peter) Johnson, Ben Horswill and Becky Horswill; five great-grandchildren: Amanda, Kylie, Dylan, McKenna and Alexandria; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Luella Wagner, Reedsville; Ruth and Harold Panosh, Manitowoc; Raymond and Florence Bratz, Valders; and Lawrence and Sarah Bratz, Reedsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mabel on June 19, 2001; a daughter Dorothy Ann; a sister. Evelyn Bloedorn; a brother: Waldemar Buboltz; three sisters-in-law: Hilda Bratz, Evangeline Bratz and Sylvia Behnke; and five brothers-in-law: Theodore Bratz, James Bratz, Elmer Behnke, Hubert Bloedorn and Everett Wagner.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion, on Tuesday (TONIGHT), from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
