Ruth Nixon was the daughter of W.Eldon Nixon and (Lanoma) Jennie Nixon (nee Flewel.) She married Carl G. Gregor and had two children, Douglas and Diane.
Ruth was a member of the Prairie Star Orange Lodge of Girvin, Whitelock Rebekka Lodge in Davidson, a founding member of the 4-H Homecraft Club, and a lifetime member of the Craik Maple Leaf Horticultural Society.
Carl and Ruth spent most of their lives farming in the Girvin area before retiring to Davidson, SK.

A Service of Remembrance was held on June 28, 1990 at 2 p.m. at the Davidson United Church.
