Mrs. Oscar H. Peterson, Valley City, passed away at the local hospital last evening. She was 58 years old. Death was caused by a stroke.
She is survived by her husband, local McNess salesman, two brothers, Ole and Alfred Norberg of Bottineau, N. D. and two sisters, Mrs. T. T. Emerson, also of Bottineau and Mrs. Charles Vital of Gig Harbor, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at the Holberg-Peterson Funeral Home Wednesday ate 2 p.m. Paul Clark of Valley City will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.

I grew up in the same area where Thone grew up (in North Dakota) so I absolutely know for certain that her maiden name was Noraberg (not Norberg).
Her husband, Oscar, who provided the info for death certificate also didn't have her mother's name correct. It should be Kari Saamundsdatter. (I don't know where he got 'Larson' from.) (Kari is buried in the same cemetery as my grandparents & other relatives.)
