Delbert Bauge, 88, 119 E. 12th St., died Sunday, Nov. 8 at Mary Greeley Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m Wednesday, Nov. 11, from the Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jordan Jacobsen, Ascension Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Bauge was born Feb. 26, 1893, in Estherville, to Joseph and Julia (Halverson) Bauge. On Feb. 14, 1929, he was married to Mamie Iverson in Dows. He farmed in the Ellsworth and Radcliffe area for 26 years and came to Ames in 1955. He had worked at Beardshear School, St. Cecilia School and at Mary Greeley Hospital. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and Golden Agers.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie; two sons including Richard, Kansas City, Mo; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m Tuesday at Stevens Memorial Chapel
