Emmett O'Neal (Neal) Owens, 92, of Montgomery passed away April 30, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, 20114 at 1:00 from Leak Memory Chapel with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, with Pastor Kenneth Randolph officiating.

He was a World War II veteran and a Lieutenant with City of Montgomery Fire Rescue. He proudly served 29 years.

He was the loving caring and devoted husband of his wife of 64 years, Jimmie Kelley Owens who preceded him in death on November 6, 2013. He also was a devoted and loving father of three children, Shirley Owens Bennett, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Donald O'Neal Owens (Loretta), Prattville, Alabama and Charlotte Owens Tatum, Montgomery, Alabama, and a very proud Paw-Paw of eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren,
