Betty Sue Daniels
Betty Sue Daniels, 50, of Okeechobee, Fla., died Tuesday at her residence.
Mrs. Daniels was born March 24, 1954, in Kimberly, W.Va. She was the youngest of five children born to Alfred and John Lourie Caldwell.
She earned a nursing degree at PBCC and served as a supervisor of Okeechobee School Health for many years. She was employed with the Okeechobee County Health Department and enjoyed being a nurse, helping others. Her hobbies included saltwater fishing, lobstering in the Keys, her grandchildren and her condo in Pine Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and John Lourie Caldwell.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Daniels of Okeechobee; daughter, Pattie (Bubba) Mullins of Okeechobee; grandchildren, Katelyn and Kyle Mullins of Okeechobee; sisters, Norma (Kenny) Parker of Charleston, W.Va., Jan (Pete) Sigler of Summersville, W.Va., Mary Ann (Ricky) Holt of Okeechobee; brother, Joe (Stephanie) Caldwell of Summersville, W.Va.; mother-in-law, Lois Daniels of Vero Beach, Fla., brother-in-law, Rick (Cheryl) Daniels of Okeechobee; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Albert) Sr.) Daniel of Fort Pierce, Fla., Penny (Mike) Crowe of Vero Beach; five nephews and six nieces; six great-nephews and four great-nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Okeechobee Church of God, 301 NE 4th Ave., at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory, Okeechobee.
