He was born on December 12, 1935 in Kokomo to Clarence and Margaret (Jones) Worden, and married Irene Burns on July 1, 1960, and she survives.
Worden was a retired Civil Service Mechanic from Grissom Air Force Base, and served in the United States Army in Desert Storm in Iraq.
He was a member of the VFW Lodge, American Legion and Bunker Hill Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed reading Westerns, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Aside from his wife, Worden is survived by two sons, Rick Worden and wife Betsy, Walton, and Kenneth Worden and wife Jody, Macy; one daughter, Teresa Lawson, Kokomo; three brothers, Bob Worden and wife Thelma, Denver, Carl Worden and George Worden, both of Peru; sister, Jenny Lewis and husband Alden, Peru; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Worden and Jim Worden; sister, Mary Wingard, and infant sister, Betty Worden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with Pastor Gene Personett officiating.
Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
There will be a military committal service at the cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
