William A. Watson II, 73, of Cordova, retired Treasurer for Film Transit, died of heart failure Sunday at Sycamore View Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Advent Presbyterian Church and Colonial Country Club, and former Vice-President of Highland 100. Mr. Watson, the husband of Marilyn Watson for 28 years, also leaves a daughter, Monda Watson of Memphis, three sons, Parks Watson of Memphis, Andy Watson of Brentwood, Tenn., and Jim Watson of Brisbane, Australia, and three granddaughters. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Advent Presbyterian Church, MIFA or the charity of the donor's choice.
