Mrs. Elvera Lucille Blake, 80, of Anderson, Mo., Died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., after a long illness.
One of four children born to the late George and Edna (Simonson) Laycock. Elvera was united in marriage to John Henry Blake on July 12, 1942, in South Lineville, Mo., and to this union one son was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roger Laycock. Elvera is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John Henry Blake; one son, Jerry Lee Blake and wife Chris, of Anderson Mo.; a brother, Ronald Laycock and wife, Ione, of Benson, Minn.; her sister, Donna Ostberg and husband, Bill, of Madrid, Iowa; along with many other relatives.
