Burial will be at Eldorado Cem. Born 17 Oct 1906 in Covington Co., AL, she was the dau/o James & Minnie Watkins Grimes. She married Crawford Nelson 13 Apr 1924 at Florala, AL. They moved to the Eldorado area in 1927 & farmed until Nelson's death in 1976. Mrs. Nelson continued to be an active member of the comm., participating in many activities at the Eldorado First Bapt. Church & holding membership in the Eastern Star. Survivors: 2 sons: Farris Nelson-Hobbs, James Nelson-Lake Charles, LA; 2bros: Ferrin Grimes-Georgetown,FL & Eugene Grimes-Wagoner; 2sis: Blanch Kimbril-Georgetown & Eva Crume-Eldorado. 7 gch & 11 great-gch. She was preceded in death by 2bros: Duell Grimes & Oris Grimes & a sister: Lillian White.
