a well known farmer of Kremin, Fresno County,(according to his obituary -- perhaps it meant to say Kerman, Fresno County) and an apiarist (a beekeeper)

also according to his obituary, he died in Riverview, presumably the former settlement of Riverview near to Bakersfield CA. The obituary is dated Dec 2, 1933 and may be found on page 7 of the Bakersfield Californian.

There was also an obituary in the Fresno Bee, Dec 4, 1933. This obituary gives the cemetery information for his burial. Thank you to a great findagrave volunteer named Nancy for locating the second obituary.

Information about the Cemetery:
(written by Lee Nave and taken from usgwarchives.net/ca/fresno/cemeteries/bethany.txt)

There are 80 marked graves and at least nine unmarked graves.
There are also four graves with markers, but no indication of who is buried there.
The church has no known burial records.
The oldest grave is from 1908, so it was probably established about that time.
This cemetery used to be known as the Vineland Cemetery.
