Ruth lived most of her life in Mills County, Texas, at her ranch, and worked at the County Clerk's office, the Mills County State Bank, and finally retired as Branch Manager of Southern Savings and Loan.
She and Charles lived in Fort Worth from 1952 until 1962, and in Big Spring, Texas from 2002 until 2008.
Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Goldthwaite. She enjoyed sewing, collectables, and traveling o bus tours. She and Charles especially enjoyed operating Dennard's Den.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her four brothers, her three sisters, and her husband Charles.
She is survived by her son, Sammy Dennard daugher, Sandy Skiles, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Orpha Ruth Dennard, 87 of Goldthwaite, Texas passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 in Goldthwaite, Texas. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas. Interment will be at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas. There is no set time for visitation
