Lancaster - Mrs. Wilhelmina Lloyd Ackerman, 82, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was the widow of Robert "Bob" Ackerman, and was born August 13, 1930 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William Clifford Lloyd and Eunice Gardner Lloyd. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was retired from Springs Industries. Her family was her life. There was nothing more important to her than caring for her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Ackerman is survived by three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Merritt Cairnes; and two brothers, William Lloyd and Leon Lloyd.
