Calvin Hargrove Jr. died Saturday. A resident of the Pleasant Hill community, he was 81 years old.
Services will be held today at 3:30pm in the chapel of Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Mattie Lee Hargrove and two sons Kenneth Hargrove and wife Patricia and Ricky Hargrove, all of Pleasant Hill. He is survived by four daughters, Joyce Baugher & husband Don of Pleasant Hill Janie Butler and husband Dodie of Ardmore, Mary Robinson of Elkmont, and Connie Blackwell & husband Lane of Pleasant Hill. Other survivors include four brothers, Buddy. Wayne. David and Jimmy Hargrove, all of Pulaski and five sisters, Sara George of Pulaski, Angelene Strange of Nashville, Katherine Robison of Pulaski, Paulette Lagrone of Pulaski and Wanda Hargrove of Elkton. Fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Hargrove, his mother Mary Lou Southerland Hargrove, a brother Bobby Joe Hargrove and a sister Rachel Holder.
