CHARLES H. FRANCIS DIES IN SANTA CRUZ
Funeral services for the late Charles Henry Francis, 62 years old, Who died in Santa Cruz on April 26, were conducted at the Place Funeral Home at 3:30 Saturday by Rev. Henry H. Winter and grave-side services were conducted by the Auxiliary of the Modern Woodmen of America, at the Los Gatos Cemetery.
Pall bearers were C. A. White, C. H. Allbright, F. O. Bowman, H.O. Wylie, E. R. Haller and H. W. Lapum. Mrs. L. G. Case sang "Lead Kindly Light" and "Gathering Home" and Mrs. C. P. Baird was Organist.
The deceased has resided here about 26 years and was husband of Emma L. Francis of Los Gatos and father of Fred L. and Walter C. Francis of Santa Cruz. He was a native of Davenport, Ia.
