Somersworth, NH – 86 of Somersworth died at her home.

She was the daughter of Maurice and Alnora (Damren) Cofferen. She moved to Dover, NH in 1940, graduated from Dover High School Class of 1947 and has resided in Somersworth most of her life.

For more than 40 years, Carolyn had worked for G. E. in Somersworth before her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winters.

She was a member of the American Legion Dover Post 8 Auxiliary where she was involved in selecting scholarships for Dover High School students, the Women of the Moose, Lodge 443, the Red Hat Society and the reunion committee for DHS Class of 1947.

Members of her family include three daughters, Joliene of Somersworth, Robin Ann of Milton and Michele of Sanford, Maine, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two brothers, Arthur of Wells, Maine and Ray of North Berwick, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph M. A. Roseberry in 1969 and her second husband, James G. Casey in 2006.
