Jane B. Duvall, 56, of Monroe, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Friday in her home surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Rupp Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. James Jacobs will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
Jane was born January 26, 1958 in Detroit, she was the daughter of Jack F. and Lois F. (West) Bales, Sr. She married Dennis M. Duvall April 24, 1993.
She was a graduate of Redford High School, had earned an Associate of Business Degree and was also a certified paralegal.
Jane enjoyed dancing, painting and doing ceramics. She was always there to help everybody who needed her. It did not matter if it was to lend a helping hand or to just listen when someone needed to talk over a problem.
She is survived by her husband Dennis Duvall of Monroe; two sons, Stephen W. (Sarah E.) Fritz and Christopher M. Duvall both of Monroe; a daughter, Jaclyn C. Duvall of Monroe; her first grandchild that is due to arrive at anytime; six brothers, Jack (Virginia) Bales of Westland, Jan R. (Kathy) Bales of Clarkston, James (Renee) Bales of Livonia, Jerry Bales of Lambertville, Jay (Beth) Bales of Livonia and Jory (Sue) Bales of Plymouth; four sisters, Lois June Jackson of Owosso, Jeanette (Rick) Lucka of Monroe, Judith (Dan) Baxendale of Livonia and Joan (Thomas) Lademan of Novi; a sister-in-law, Zee Bales of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Rick (Kathy) Duvall of Monroe, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jody Bales and a nephew, Richie Duvall.
