Mr. Terrell Wayne Broadaway, age 66, of Lindale, passed away Friday evening, April 20, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Broadaway was born in Floyd County, August 6, 1945, son of the late Allen Tatum Broadaway and the late Carrie Lee Barber Broadaway. He was of the Methodist faith and a graduate of Pepperell High School. He was a salesman with J Suppy Company for many years before joining Eagle Equipment Company. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, traveling, spending time with friends and family and his granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Paul Douglas Broadaway, Carmen Ladel Broadaway, Randy Dale Broadaway, Kenneth Broadaway and by a sister, Juanita Allene Dempsey.
Survivors include his wife, the former Leah Annette Watts to whom he was married on June 24, 1967 and 2 children, Tracy Broadaway, Lindale, and Allison Yanover and her husband Mike, Greenville, SC; 1 grandchild, Haley Broadaway of Lindale; a sister, Jennifer Maloney, Silver Creek; 2 brothers, Kerry Broadaway, and his wife, Linda, Fort Payne, AL, and Robbie Broadaway and his wife, Sandra, Lindale; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Receiving of friends will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, from 4pm to 6pm at Daniel's Funeral Home, 901 East 2nd Avenue, Rome, GA with graveside and interment services officiated by Rev. Dale Byars immediately following at at approximately 6:30 PM in Floyd Memory Gardens, Hwy 411, Rome, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heyman Hospice Care, 420 E 2nd Ave,Suite 105, Rome, GA 30161.
At other hours, the family can be reached at their home at 13 Lakeview Drive, Lindale, Georgia.
