Jesse L. Arnold, 82, Dona Ana road, died Wednesday at his home. A retired farmer, he had been a resident of this area for 30 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m Saturday in Graham's Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Alvin Swearengen, Fairacres Baptist Church pastor, will lead the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr Arnold is survived by his wife, Lethea; four sons, Reagen, California; Hollie and Odell, both of Dallas, and Cullen, Las Cruces; six daughters, Mrs. Hallie Newborn, Yuma; Mrs. Ida Lou Woodard and Mrs. Dorothy Hunter, both of California; Mrs. Elouise Patton, Tuscon and Mrs. Helen Petty and Mrs. Faye Markle, both of Las Cruces, 40 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
