Services for Dorothy Maxine Shehorn are 2:30 p.m. Monday at Word of Faith Church, Cornelius, Ore. Additonal memorial services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Assembly of God, Rock Island.
Graveside services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rock Island Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is handling local arrangements.
She died April 23, 1999, at the age of 72.
Dorothy was born May 22, 1926, in Andalusia to Custer and Bernice (Corwin) Tompkins. She was raised in Andalusia and moved to Tualatin, Ore. in 1996.
She was a member of Word of Faith Church in Cornelius, Ore. She was an artist and enjoyed painting wildlife pictures. She enjoyed sewing, church activities and the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Shehorn, Tualatin, Ore.; stepsons, Rick Shehorn and Stephen Shehorn, Tigard, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Judith Randolph, Eagle, Idaho; a brother, Wayne Tompkins, Tualatin, sisters, Irva Mae Bealer, Dahinda, Ill., and Charlene Lyons, Rock Island; five stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
