ZAREDA SPENCER, widow of Eric Clayton Spencer Sr, Beattyville, KY, passed away March 1, 2014 at the Owsley County Health Care Center.
She was born May 10, 1933 in Lee County, KY the daughter of Larence and Icie (Spencer) Barker. She was a homemaker, member of the Primrose Auxillary Fire Department and member of the Wide Creek Community Church.
Survivors are daughters, Loretta (Bill) Wright of Shelby Township, MI, Ruth Spencer of Beattyville, KY; sons, Rodney (Tammi) Spencer of Middleton, TX, Eric Spencer Jr and special friend Sherry Rogers of Beattyville, KY; sister, Greeba Davis of Michigan and one brother, Clarence Barker of Michigan; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years and five brothers.
Funeral services will be Fridaym Narcg 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Newnam funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Spencer and Bill Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Beattyville, KY.
