Margaret Agnor Carter, 87, of Rt. 1, Buena Vista, died Wednesday, August 9, 1995 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born December 19, 1907 in Rockbridge Co., she was the daughter of the late Alfred Agnor and Carrie Davis Agnor.

She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church.

She was the widow of Windle N. Carter.

Surviving are two sons, Fred K. Carter and James A. Carter, Buena Vista; two daughters, Carolyn C. Ruley and Gail C. Clark, Buena Vista; two sisters, Emma Agnor, Buena Vista, and Virginia Sensabaugh, Lexington; three granddaughters, Kimberly Carter, Miami, Fla., Christy Carter Camden, Richmond, and Michelle R. Wheeler, Buena Vista; one great-grandson, Logan Carter Camden, Chesterfield.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 11, 1995 at 3 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Buena Vista Rescue Squad.
