Steven C. Carter, 55, of Wabash, and a former resident of Huntington, died Friday evening, May 9, 2014.
Mr. Carter was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a graduate of Marion High School and studied computer design at Ivy Tech.
He was born June 2, 1958, in Fayette, WV. His parents, John R. Carter and Bertha Workman, are deceased.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Carter, of Huntington, and Stacie Reichenbaugh, of Tennessee; seven brothers, Charles Workman, of Alabama; Robert Workman, of New York; Roger Workman, of Ohio; Tom Workman and Bill Carter, both of Wabash; and John Carter, of North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Abigail Carter and Kaiden Barnes, both of Huntington, and Logan Reichenbaugh and Jadin Reichenbaugh, both of Tennessee.
A service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 2:30 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at The Awakening Church, 235 Safari Trail, Huntington.
Gifts to the family may be made in care of Amanda Carter.
