Mrs. Wilson was born in Coxsackie, New York, the daughter of Howard and Lulu Cary. She graduated from Coxsackie High School and later attended Hartwick College and Albany Business College. She had worked in her father's office cold storage plant at Coxsackie and later as a secretary at General Electric in Schenectady for 27 years, retiring in 1965.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the West Coxsackie Reformed Church, and, while a Cobleskill resident, attended the United Methodist Church of Cobleskill.
Mrs. Wilson married Leon E. Wilson on May 15, 1955 in Canaan, CT.
Besides her husband, survivors include a brother, Richard Cary of Coxsackie; stepsons, Robert Wilson of Niantic, CT, David Wilson of Cobleskill and Larry Wilson of Hyndsville, NY; stepdaughters, Phyllis Tefft and Barbara Rickard, both of Cobleskill, and Patricia Hotaling of Milton, VT. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Robert A Guffin Funeral Home, 108 Chapel St., Cobleskill, NY. Calling hours will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Burial will be at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
