December 28, 1892 Florence married First cousin, George Henry Armstrong, son of Alfred B. and Jane Elizabeth (McIntyre) Armstrong. They had 3 children -

George F. born 1896 who married Maxine F. Jones
Richard Henry born 1902 and died that same year.
Laura Jannette born 1904 and died in 1906.

In 1910 they owned their own home in Wellsville and Florence was cleaning houses and George was doing odd jobs. At one time he worked as a surveyor's helper.
