Miriam Adams Jernigan, 83, of Center, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches. She was born August 20, 1930 in Shelby County to Flint Thomas Adams and George Ann Samford Adams. She was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Eddie Lee Mahan and Bro. Willie Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Center.

Pallbearers will be Micky Ray, Misty Ray, Lucas Powers, Liza T Powers, Melinda Sims, Mallory Sims, Thomas Jernigan, Todd Jernigan and Melissa Marcantel.
