Frankhouse Is Killed in Auto Crash
Collision Occurs South of Lodi in Early Morning
Alvin A. Frankhouse, resident of Lodi for the past 15 years, was instantly killed about 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning when a cope he was driving collided with a wholesale meat truck. The accident occurred on Cherokee Lane about two miles south of Lodi.
Frankhouse has been employed at the Stockton Air Force Intransit Depot a civilian worker. He was a truck driver. His shift ended at 3 a.m. and he was on his way to his home in Lodi when the accident occurred.
(He may have fallen asleep at the wheel)
The deceased was born in North Dakota and was 37 years of age. He was a member of the Moose lodge of Lodi.
He was the husband of Mrs. Celestine Frankhouse of Lodi; son of Mrs. Frederika Frankhouse, Lodi; brother of Miss Magdalena Martell, Lodi; Phil Martell, Santa Rosa; Julius Martell, Santa Rosa; Theodore Martell, Bismarck, N.D.; Mrs. Catherine Anderson, Minnesota; Fred Frankhouse, Anamoose, N.D.
