ANNA E. FARR, 96, of 413 N. Wilbur Ave., Sayre died Friday, Nov. 17, 1989. Born Feb. 10, 1893 in Merryall, Pa., she was the daughter of John and Jenny Kithcart. She attended Wyalusing schools and moved to the Valley in 1915. She was a member of the Sayre First Presbyterian Church and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Mrs. Winfred (Geraldine) Burbage of horseheas; two sons: Roy and Milford Farr of Sayre; two sisters: Grace Goodwin of Mehoopany, Pa. and Gladys Heeman of Laceyville, Pa.; a brother, Daniel Kithcart of Laceyville, Pa.; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Lowery Funeral Home, 225 S. Main St., Athens on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Parsons, interim pastor of the Sayre First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens.
