FARMER KILLED BY TRAIN
Hoosier's Horse Frightens and Runs Before Engine
St. Joseph, Ind., Feb. 8. - Vincent Dilley, 60 years old, a farmer, who lived three miles from here, was killed yesterday by a Baltimore & Ohio train. He was crossing the track in a buggy when his horse took fright and ran on the railroad right-of-way. As the train approached the runaway horse veered and was struck by the locomotive. Mr. Dilley was thrown out of the buggy and instantly killed.
He leaves a widow and five children.
