Myra attended the University of Wisconsin, was an avid tennis player and had numerous victories in the World Senior Games. She married Bill Erin of La Crosse, Wis., in La Crosse, Sept. 5, 1940.
After Bill returned from serving in World War II, they lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., Springfield, Ohio, Oakland, Calif., La Crosse, and Rochester, Minn. They moved to Wheaton, Ill. in 1955, retired to Boulder City in 1983, and moved to Palisades Senior Living in Colorado Springs, Colo. in 2009.
Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and a son, Pat. She is survived by her five children, Dan (Sharon Katz) of Vashon, Wash., Tim (Margaret Vardy) of Dayton, Ohio, Rod (Marcia Roach) of Colorado Springs, Steven of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Michael (Connie Kramer) of Gardner, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, where Myra will be interred next to her husband, Bill.
