FRANK, Josephine Ann
(Hackett)
Born August 25, 1923 in San Francisco, CA, Jo died peacefully May 13th. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Art, siblings Hack, Gertrude, Harry and Chap. Jo is survived by her daughters Joann Knight (husband Carl), Ardith Monteton (husband Jim), Kathleen Whatley and Martha Jones (husband David), 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Jo loved life and truly enjoyed her family. After a cup of coffee and two or three crossword puzzles (including the New York) she greeted each day with enthusiasm. She had a light in her eye and a fire in her belly. She was as kind and friendly person as you would ever want to meet. She would give you anything you needed - money, a place to stay, a good meal or two - and some advice as well. But make no mistake about it - she was a bad enemy to have. Strong willed - forged from the depression and World War II - she inspired, educated and supported all who knew her. She was one hell of a woman! She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be on Saturday May 17 from 12:30 to 3:30PM at Chapel of the Valley located at 97 Vernon St, Roseville, CA. Burial will be on Tuesday May 20 at the Gustine National Cemetery in Gustine, CA at 1:30.
Rather than sending flowers, please donate to the Wounded Worrier Project in her name.
