Technical Sergeant, United States Army. He enlisted on June 2, 1898 with his brother, Walter J. Bradshaw and retired on June 26, 1925. One of his first assignments was in the Philippines where his unit guarded plantations. He was married to Lucy. They were the parents of Edith Bradshaw Herman, who lived in Newburgh, New York in 1955.
