Born Feb. 1, 1901, in Malone Township, Tazewell County, to Arthur and Henrietta Warner Radefeld, she married George E. Hilst on Nov. 22, 1930, in Manito. He died Feb. 25, 1980.
Surviving are one son, John of Pekin; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Eschmeyer, Florence Griffin and Hazel Lohnes, all of Pekin; and one niece.
A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manito, she taught Sunday school for more than 25 years.
Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.
