He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation; and was an avid dirt track race fan and private pilot. Ron also was a member of the Strangers Rest Masonic Lodge and attended South Friendship Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley; son & daughter-in-law, Carl & Cheryl Amos of Chandler; granddaughter, Talisha (Gregory) Keith; grandson, Justin; great grandchildren, Addison & Garrett Keith; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Cagel of Texas; brothers, Russell (Mary) Amos of Arkansas, Earl (Carma) Amos of Texas; sister-in-laws, Marilyn Rittel, Vicki (Dennis) Martin, Teri (Brad) Rasmussen; brother-in-law, Ken Spangler; and several nieces and nephews.
