Matthew was a special little boy whom we all dearly loved. He was born with many disabilities and had many struggles in his short life. He loved Barney and Winnie the Pooh, and the color red. He loved music and his favorite songs were Barney, If all the Raindrops and Jesus Loves Me. He was a true fighter to the end. He was a very special angel. God only gives a child like Matthew to special parents. He was preceded in death by a great-uncle, Douglas B. Headrick, great-grandfather, Lynn Douglas Headrick, and great-grandmothers, Rosa Mae Ivey and Mary Sue Kelley. He is survived by his parents, Robin and Valarie Gregory, and a younger brother, Robert. Grandparents are Joe and Linda Gregory, Diane Ivey and Lester Seymour. Other survivors include great-grandmother, Mary Faye Headrick and great-grandfather, J. B. Ivey. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved him dearly. Pallbearers are: Joey Gregory, Chris Clinard, Christopher Seymour, David Miller and Wayne Kajdas. A very special thanks to our mom, Linda Gregory, for all of her support for Matthew and us through the last six year. Quote from Winnie the Pooh: "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever."
