Born abt. 1852 in Drumcrow Townland, County Cavan, Killishandra Parish, Ireland to Alexander Baker & Sarah Anne Holahan.

William and his brother Alexander farmed all their lives. They lived for many years beside one another on what is now called the ''Irish Line'' in Haliburton, Ont.

D.O.M. - July 27, 1875, St. Mark's Anglican Church, Orangeville, Dufferin Co., Ont. Confirmed on Marriage Registration.

D.O.D. - May 27, 1906, Guilford Twp., Haliburton Co., Ont. Confirmed on Ont. Vital Stats.
