Betty L. Reynolds, 89, of Memphis, passed away May 15, 2014. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Road in Bartlett. Born and raised in Table Grove, IL, Betty graduated from Table Grove High School. She was married in 1946 and relocated to Corinth, MS where she remained until moving with her family to Memphis in 1949. Mrs. Reynolds was a devoted homemaker and member of Berclair Baptist Church, and she enjoyed embroidery, sewing, and fishing. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Chris G. Reynolds; her daughter, Karen S. Earwood (Ray); two sons, Steven W. Reynolds (Gloria) and Phillip C. Reynolds (Montie); her sister, Ida Lindsey; five grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
