Lillian L. "Lili" Raasch, age 89, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Mercy Health Center, Homewood, IL. She is survived by one brother, Edward (Doris) Raasch; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Caroline Raasch, sisters, Ida Wulf, Anna Marvel, Frieda Wilson, Louise Markowski, and her twin sister, Lenore Raasch. Also preceded by brothers, William, Albert, Ferdinand and Walter Raasch. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 11:00 AM from the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 7227 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN, with Rev. Karl Davies officiating. Burial, Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Lillian was a long time member of the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church of Hammond; and was retired from Jones Clinic, Munster, IN. Memorials contributions, in memory of Lillian, to the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church of Hammond would be appreciated.
