Survived by her husband of 64 years, Lee Akins; son, Braxton Akins and wife Donna; daughters, Martha Akins Johnson and Liz Luse and her husband Greg Luse; grandchildren, Lindsay Akins, Jared Akins, Lauren Akins, Alicia Johnson, Kathryn Luse and Jeffrey Luse; brother, R.A. Long.
Visitation 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Sparkman/Hillcrest. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, 9810 La Prada Dr., Dallas, Texas 75228, Rev. Tracy Dophied, officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
