Mrs. Altha Louisa Thralls, aged 70 years, seven months and 14 days, widow of B. F. Thralls and a life-long resident of Wayne Township, died Sunday, May 16, 1943, at 11:30 a.m., at her home near Blacksville, W. Va., following a brief illness.
A daughter of the late Enoch and Delilah Johnson Mapel, she was born October 2, 1872, and was the last of her family. She married B. F. Thralls, whose death occurred 11 years ago. She was a member of the Blacksville Baptist Church. One son and three daughters survive, namely Carl W. Thralls of Waynesburg; Mrs. Anna Morris, of Brave; Mrs. Fern Gardner, of Morgantown, W. Va., and Mrs. Edna Miller, of Waynesburg. There are 10 grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased.
