Norbert Lisowe, 44, died January 28, at Calumet Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since the previous Thursday.

He was born Jan. 17, 1918 in the town of Brothertown, son of Mrs. Rose and the late Peter Lisowe. Brothertown remained his home until 1944, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army in World War II. He served in the European, African and ??? theatres.

Fifteen years following his return he worked at the Kimberly Clark Corp., of Kimberly. He has been in ill health for the past three years and failed in health steadily the past years. He was married to Irene Mortell of Stockbridge.

Survivors are his wife, Irene; two sons, Raymond and Charles; two daughter, Joan and Patricia, all at home, his mother, Mrs. Rose Lisowe of Kiel; three brothers, Alvin of Brothertown, Gregory of Fond du Lac and Leander of Kiel; seven sisters, Mrs. Hugo Herzog, Mrs. Hugo Graf of Kiel, Mrs. Lester Konz Of Kiel, Mrs. Barbara Mihm of Calvary, Mrs. Roman Kohlman of Charlesburg, Mrs. Sylvester Abler of St. Cloud and Mrs. Louis Enders of Collins.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. William Willinger officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
