WWI Veteran, served overseas with the 113th Engineering Corps.
He was born in Edwardsville , but when he was young the family moved to Troy.
He was resident of Troy, but died at Missouri Baptist hospital in St Louis due to a blood clot in his heart.
Married Alvina in 1919 in St Jacob IL.
About 20 years ago, Edward lost an arm while employed as a trip driver in the Troy coal mine. He never completely recovered from the effects but was able to work as a driver in the mine until his death.
