Mrs. Mary Cleo Frizzell, age 89, passed away Tuesday evening at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

Mrs. Frizzell was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Jarrett Alfred and Alice Lee Walker Brown. She was employed at PCA in Manchester for 20 years before working at Batesville Casket Company, where she retired after 13 years of service. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mrs. Frizzell loved to travel, was a wonderful cook, was devoted to and loved her church and her family, and also enjoyed shopping trips.

In addition to her parents, Cleo was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Everett Frizzell, who passed in 1994; brothers, J.W., Clifton, Hershel, and Billy Brown; and sisters, Helen Brown and Imogene Uselton. She is survived by one son, Neill (Linda) Frizzell of East Ridge, TN; one daughter, Rebecca (Steven) Calvert of New Mexico; two grandchildren, Amanda Lynne Frizzell and Jason Oliver Everett Frizzell; one great grandchild, Margot Elisabeth Frizzell; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service was Saturday May 24, 2014, 10:00 AM at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was Saturday May 24, 2014, After service at Farrar Hill Cemetery .
