Washaki Man, 21, Killed in Truck Accident in France

Washaki-Raymond O. Neaman, 21, son of Jim J. Neaman, of Wahsaki, was killed May 17 in an accident in France when the truck he was driving ran into a tree.
Pfc. Neaman had been serving with the U.S. Army in France for the past six months.
He was a graduate of the Bear River High School where he was active in athletics. He was a member of the LDS Church and served as president of the YMMIA and was a ward teacher in the Washaki Ward. When he entered the Army in November, 1953, he was assistant in the Sunday School of the ward.
He was born April 18, 1934, in Fort Hall, Idaho, a son of Jim J. and Emiline Pabawena Neaman.
Surviving are his father, Washaki; three brothers and two sisters: Lee and Lanna Neaman, Toppenish, Wash.;Junior, Eleanor and Kenneth Neaman, Washaki; grandfather, John Pabawena, Bannock Creek, Idaho.
The body will be brought to Tremonton. Funeral services will be announced by the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton.
