James A. Murphy was born in Jackson County Tennessee to Arthur Lee Murphy and Maggie Phillips Murphy, he married Lorraine Singer and had a daughter named Candace Lee Reshkin (Murphy) Burns. He later divorced Ms. Singer and married, Agnes "Pauline," Meador,Murphy. She had a son by a previous marriage to John Robert Levy, and had a son James Robert Levy, divorced & married James & they had two children, Michael Lee Murphy and Sandra Michele "Murphy," McBride. They had 4 grand children, James Robert "Bobby" Levy Jr., Samuel Gordon Levy, George Andrew Levy & Matthew Devin Burns. Great grand children, George Andrew Levy Jr. Emma Grace Levy, & Shane and Brooke Levy, and Bobby's daughter Elizabeth "Ashley Levy."
James was in the U.S. Airforce in WW2, and returned back to Gallatin, Tennessee. He was a jack of many trades. A professional photographer, Tennessee State Trooper, Worked for Zayre for 15 years. He worked for Nashville Gas, when he died.
He was my father, and he was liked by all. I loved him very much and I miss him. We got our sense of humor from him, and OUR great looks from both. VERY good genes!
My brother, Michael never got over past deaths in our family. He suffered from Bi Polar disorder & feelings were multiplied for him. I know that, they are all together, and I will see them again.Thank you for all the roses that you left on my car seat.
