Colleen Marie Strong, 54, of Red Lake, MN, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, May 26, 2014 at the St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Red Lake, MN with Father Jerry officiating. A wake will begin 10:00 am, Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN, and will continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Mission Catholic Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
She was born on January 9, 1960, in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Robert Sr. and Mary Jane (Mason) Stillday. She was raised and educated in Red Lake. She worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at the Jourdain-Perpich Extended Care, she later worked for the Seven Clans Casino in Red Lake, MN, and as a home health aide. She enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, going to the Casino, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by: Husband, Lester Strong, Children, Chris (Fawnda Parkhurst) Strong Sr., Michelle (Doug Dudley) Strong, Siblings, Paul (Mary Ellen) Stillday, Rodney Stillday, Reginald (Candece) Stillday, Connie (Gordon Smith) Stillday, 6 Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Darrell Stillday, and Robert Stillday Jr.
