Harley E. Carey, a well known young resident of this city, died from pneumonia this morning at his home, 309 W. Willett street, following an illness of over two weeks duration. Mr. Carey was born in Coonrod, town of Rome, on April 30, 1890, and had lived in this city and vicinity all of his life. He was a roofer by trade. Mr. Carey attended the First Presbyterian Church. In addition to his mother, Mrs. Nora Carey, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Warren and Fayette Carey, Mrs. Arthur Bowers and Mrs. Andrew Griffin, all of this city. A brother, Emory, died about eight months ago.

CAREY - Entered into rest in this city on Tuesday, February 17, 1920, Harley E. Carey, aged 29 years.
The funeral will be held from his late home Saturday morning. The body will be placed in a vault until spring when interment will be made in Lee Valley Cemetery.
