Don was 1 of 6 kids born to Edward and Clara (remington) Johnson. Don served in Navy on a ship LST. He was member of VFW,Moose lodge,and others. Born in NY his family moved to California. after his service he married Diane (Farris ) Johnson and raised 6 kids. In 1980's Don opened his own Oilfield service co GASSCO and succesfully grew adding family members to run the co. in Long beach, Bakersfield California. grandpa to 11 grandkids and several step grandkids and now great grandkids. He has a spot in the cemetary but is at home waiting for Diane to join him before being placed there. He has parents Edward and Clara johnson, sister Beverly Johnson McInroe nephew Matthew McInroe. a brother John Johnson (Washington) Thomas Johnson also buried here. Another nephew Michael McInroe , ashes scattered at sea.
