BAXTER SPRINGS, KANSAS: William M. Davis, 80, died January 6, 2006. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by a daughter, Fonda Petty of California; three sons, Terry, Deran and Barry, all of Kansas; a sister, Betty Lew Moore of Fincastle; a brother, Robert Dewey of Millboro; a foster brother, Sam Burke of Millboro; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel LaTurner Davis; and a son, Kevin Davis. Interment with military honors was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
