He was born July 17, 1939 in Altamont, NY to Dan C. Barlow Jr. and Betty (Kirk) Barlow Condon. He married Nancy A. Ellison in Orange, TX on October 3, 1959. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2009.
Surviving are three children, Rhonda (Greg) Jones of Clermont, FL, Steven (Stacy) Barlow of Clermont, FL, and Charles (Susan) Barlow of Springfield, OH; four sisters, Donna Finck and Debbie Brockway of North Carolina, Kathy Condon of FL, and Rae Lynn Scofield of NY; one brother, Donny Barlow of NY; several grandchildren, Joey, Joshua, Jacob, Greg Jr., Jennifer, Erica, Samantha, Hanna, Brooke, and Ty; and several great-grandchildren, Bryten, Annabelle, Payton, and Cade.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Annabelle Ellison; and two brothers, David Barlow and Howard Condon.
Dan was a United States Navy veteran, and retired from International Harvester Company. He as an avid bowler for over 50 years, a 50 year member of the Canton Odd Fellows and loved doing any type of coaching for sports in which the community needed help.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at a later date at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
